Our Commitment

Hi, there.

We, the people of Petal, believe everyone deserves to live in healthy, clean, and sustainable environments.

From how we design our products, to who we hire and how we treat each other and the world around us - Petal is designed to serve people. We choose people and the planet before profit. Period.

We’re tossing out business as usual and doing things differently from the very start.

We’ve set our sights high with Petal, because reaching for the stars is what started this whole thing to begin with.

Our earliest team members, two rocket scientists, inspired by spaceflight from an early age, spent their careers designing things that can make us fly.

With their know-how, we set out on a dadacious project to eliminate the stench and neutralize the germs from poopy diapers.

Before long, we realized that poopy diapers were just the tip of the iceberg. Unlike a diaper pail or indoor composting machine, Petal has more uses than we can count, and it doesn’t require any expensive & proprietary add-ons. Our first prototype was built in a basement with some sheet metal, mini-fridge components, and a 3D printer. After years of development and prototype variants, Petal's finely-tuned design and pioneering technology is poised to change the disposal game for good.

We’re excited to share this innovation with you and, together, bring our vision to life.

And, by the way, when we say healthy environments for all, that includes our own team members.

We choose to embrace each other for our differences. We have zero tolerance for toxicity and deep respect for fun.

We could go on, but suffice it to say that everyone on our team is wildly different from one other, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Unified as a crew of rebellious thinkers and close friends, our vision is strong and clear.

We’re Launching the Petal Revolution Together, Making Way for a Healthy, Clean and Sustainable Future for All.
